While not a current player, a profile on Sir James Goldsmith would be good. If this is pursued, take a look at the old Fortune article on his breakup of Diamond International in the early '80s. One of the best deals ever.

Great post! I particularly enjoyed the comment about how Loeb didn’t “gate” during the crisis while other funds did, and how that decision was net positive in the long run in strengthening his relationship / trust with LPs.
